Having spent over 2 decades in high street recruitment, I really did see and experience the good, the bad and the ugly! A recruiter in high street agency is targeted on call volume and figures but for me recruitment has always been far more which is where my ethos of placing people first came from.
As a mum juggling a career and parenting is no easy feat! I was fed up of missing out on important moments, having continuous mum guilt so I walked out of high street recruitment and started placing people first my own way.
My relationships with my clients are built on trust and so many of the partnerships I have formed go back those 2 decades.
The clients I choose to work with know that I will get to know them and the business so well that a candidate feels like they are dealing with someone who works in their business.
My business model of exclusivity on every role; alongside my values of clear and honest communication, integrity, passion, and determination are what sets me apart from my competitors. I always say true to my values. My clients were fed up with instructing 5 different recruiters and wondering why the candidate didn’t stick, or they couldn’t find the right person……. Until they instructed Marshall Harmony.
After leaving high street recruitment to go it alone, after a couple of years I realised being a one women show was too much. I wanted to share the Marshall Harmony way of recruitment with more businesses, who were reaching out after hearing about my reputation.
