Job Description
As Warehouse Manager you know that sense of satisfaction when you walk into a well-run warehouse?

The pride you feel of people working together, everything moving like clockwork?

That’s exactly the environment we’re aiming for here.

We’re on the lookout for you a Warehouse Manager who thrives on being hands-on.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be hidden away in an office….you’ll be right there on the shop floor, operating side loaders, band saws & cranes when needed.

You’ll be leading from the front, ensuring everything runs smoothly day-to-day.

We need someone who’s sharp, ambitious, and ready to grow.

The company has recently undergone a big shift in culture, they’re determined to keep that momentum going. They don’t want someone who’s just coasting along…they’re after someone like you with your drive and ambition, who’s eager to learn and take the warehouse to new heights.

As warehouse manager you know the importance of getting stuck in with your team when needed, whether that’s using handheld scanners (they use Zebra) or jumping on a forklift.

Leading by example is what you are all about as warehouse manager, always keeping health & safety top of mind., if you have IOSH or NEBOSH, brilliant. If not, they’re happy to support you in getting those qualifications to support your career growth.

Here they are on a journey of continuous improvement, so if you can bring some exposure to 5S, Lean, and possibly even Six Sigma that would be a big tick in a box.

Working closely with the Operations Manager & the recently appointed Team Leader to ensure smooth operations and if you’re looking to move up into an Ops Manager role in the future, there’s a genuine opportunity here.

The essentials:
  • 3 years + hands-on warehouse management or team leading experience in a heavy industry, this company are a steel distributor, but they don’t need you to come from their industry.
  • A working knowledge of SAP and CRM systems.
  • A Forklift licence.

What’s on offer:
Salary around £38k (based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Opportunities for growth, especially in Health & Safety

Ready to take on the challenge? If you’re looking for more than just a job…if you want to grow, develop, and make a real impact then we’d love to hear from you.
