Meet Laura our Founder and MD:

I'm Laura and I'm the Managing Director of Marshall Harmony.

I head up the Executive search and selection side of our business Marshall Harmony Executive. I'm a mum of 2 and Marshall & Harmony are actually my children's middle names making them the true inspiration and "why" for my business.

What started off as a lifestyle business to enable me to spend more time with my family has become so much more than that, it has enabled me to give my growing team the same opportunities with their families.

After 23+ years in recruitment I still get the same buzz when I offer someone a job, and find it just as hard to decline someone from what they believe to be their perfect job.

My best ideas come to me when I’m either asleep or talking about something completely different which I fondly refer to as my brain farts!

Away from placing visionary leaders you will find me performing on stage as I'm a professionally trained actress & singer, and although I didn't follow that career path I still perform regularly as a guest singer and in local productions.

Meet Ellie our Office Manager:

Hi, I’m Ellie, the Office Manager at Marshall Harmony Recruitment.

I’m the Operations, Systems, Data and Analytics geek for the business. AKA “The Organised Lady”.

My role within the business is to ensure the smooth running of the company, ranging from CRM and ATS systems, analytics and data for every job posted on our job boards, accounts and general admin. I ensure that everything runs efficiently and smoothly so that Laura and Emily have the right tools to find the right candidates for our clients.

I am also in charge of the Terms of Business and contracts, between Marshall Harmony and our wonderful and loyal clients and assisting Laura with the Executive side of the business.

Outside of work I’m the ‘mum taxi’ for my two children and enjoy driving to our local National Trust forest and putting the wellies on. We love having long walks collecting sticks or conkers followed by a hot chocolate and a car boot picnic.

I am also the Vice Captain of my local Rowing Club. This is an absolute honour and privilege and something I am incredibly proud to have achieved. I absolutely LOVE being on the water, it’s my happy place!

Meet Emily our Resourcing Manager:

Hello, I'm Emily and I'm Marshall Harmony's Resourcing Manager.

I’ve worked at Marshall Harmony now since Nov 2021 and have spent the majority of that time talking!

I pride myself on my positive, open, honest and understanding outlook. No two days are the same and no two candidates are the same either! Ensuring I have proper conversations with candidates, really understanding what they need from a prospective new role is what makes me tick.

I am a Mother to two wonderful, charming and brilliant little girls. They are the reason behind everything that I do and really push me to show them a world where you can have a successful career, be happy and be present in the little things.

Outside of work and being “Mom” I am Emily.. partner of 17 years to an avid Downhill MTB’er, Best friend, camping and crafting extraordinaire, Boogie Bounce veteran and avid Harry Potter fan (even my dog is called Neville).

Meet Sarah our Marketing Executive:

Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm Marshall Harmony's Marketing Executive.

As the newest recruit here and with over 10 years’ experience in the industry I specialise in businesses strategy, social media, website content and building impactful personal brands. I thrive when helping an already incredible company like Marshall Harmony look even better.

Outside of the office I am a wife of nearly 13 years and mummy to 1 gorgeous little man.  My happy place is exploring anywhere outdoors with my family, we love the stunning countryside here in Shropshire.

As someone whose mind never stops ‘ticking’ reading is my absolute passion, it is rare that I leave the house without a book in hand, in my bag, or in the car ‘just in case’. If we’re not out on an adventure, you will often find me curled up with a good book at any opportunity!
